Rancho Cucamonga Field: Eagle Scout-Tanner

Tanner is 15, a Sophomore at Etiwanda High School.  He likes camping, hiking and rock climbing more specifically!  He is a member of BSA Troop 66. He’s been in scouting since he was 8 and recently earned his Eagle Scout Award!  Eagle Scouts always impress me.
A little about his project:
“Tanner created an orienteering course for a field behind one of the local churches.  He placed 9 – 8″ steel markers in the ground, each
having a letter or number laser cut into it. Holes were dug in the
field, concrete poured and the markers set and then painted orange. If
the course
is done correctly, it will spell out a phrase. All of the information
is
housed on the BSA District website, including a map, orienteering
symbols
and the course instructions.”  Click Here to see the website.
