I’ve known Katelyn for several years now and have really gotten to know an amazing young lady!  Not only is she gorgeous, as you can see, she is kind, smart, outgoing, funny, talented, hard-working and dedicated!

She has chosen to serve an LDS mission and will be going to Dallas, Texas.  In fact, she landed herself in the Missionary Training Center (MTC) in Provo, Utah just this last Wednesday!  She said goodbye to her friends and family for 18 months and will dedicate her entire life during that time to serve and teach!  It’s an amazing AND hard opportunity for young people to do this!  Read more about missions here where I describe in a little more detail about the mission my brother-in-law served.

It’s traditional for a young man or woman to take “mission pictures” right before they leave on their missions.  Katelyn asked me to take hers, and I was completely ecstatic about it!  Check out some of my faves!
